Well-being & Recreation

Rockefeller University is committed to fostering a community where physical and mental well-being are supported as essential parts of a healthy, productive work life. Through a combination of accessible health services, wellness resources, and opportunities for movement and recreation on campus, we aim to create an environment that encourages balance, resilience, and long-term well-being for everyone on campus.

Time Management & Workload Support

Rockefeller University recognizes that scientific research can be fast-paced and demanding, and we aim to support employees in navigating those challenges. While we offer targeted training in time management and productivity strategies, we also encourage teams to communicate openly about priorities, deadlines, and workload shifts. By promoting realistic goal-setting, shared problem-solving, and regular check-ins between employees and supervisors, we strive to help our community manage responsibilities in a way that feels sustainable—even in a dynamic research environment.

A Supportive Work Environment

Rockefeller University is committed to creating a work environment where employees feel supported, respected, and equipped to succeed. In addition to fostering open communication around workload and expectations, we encourage a collaborative culture where questions, learning, and curiosity are part of everyday work. While flexibility is offered whenever possible, our broader goal is to cultivate an environment where employees can grow, share ideas, and feel confident navigating the challenges of a dynamic scientific setting.

Community & Campus Life

Rockefeller University fosters a strong sense of community through a variety of campus events, celebrations, and opportunities for employees to connect outside their day-to-day work.
