Rockefeller Employee Affinity Groups
Rockefeller International Group of Scholars aims to cultivate respect, inclusivity, and open-mindedness. RIGs seek to foster collaboration and the exchange of knowledge across borders and cultures to benefit our scientific community.
RISI is a community-run organization at Rockefeller aimed to support and empower minority and disadvantaged scientists. RISI primarily holds activities including speaker series, mentorship and training.
RockOUT is Rockefeller University’s LGBTQ+ group that provides a safe and supportive space for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. RockOUT organizes educational events, social gathers, and advocacy initiatives to promote LGBTQ+ visibility and acceptance on campus. Members come together to share experiences, offer resources and foster a sense of community within the university.
Rockefeller’s Research Assistant Association serves to connect the Research Assistant community members with each other, providing social support through monthly programs, as well as providing resources to aid in academic and professional pursuits such as graduate school preparation.
WISer’s mission is to promote the institutional equality and success of women scientists at Rockefeller University by facilitating professional development and community advocacy.
